Description

About the course

We all have to experience change and losing things that we hold dear.

Losing the people and things that we love and dealing with unwanted changes in our lives is an experience that we often find deeply painful.

Although we long to find lasting pleasure, comfort and security in other people and things, the truth is that none of these relationships and situations will last forever. Every meeting ends in parting.

On this course Gen Leksang will explain how, through learning meditation techniques, we can cultivate a special wisdom that will help us to deal with the inevitable winds of change and loss in our lives, so that we can navigate these experiences more effectively and even in some ways make our pain meaningful.

On this course we will explore Buddhist advice on how we can respond to loss and change with a more open heart and move towards a greater degree of acceptances.

The day will include guided meditations, teachings, discussion and time for Q&A

Discover how you can:

  • Manage painful and overwhelming emotions
  • Take care of your mind during challenging times
  • Find some meaning in your pain which can lead you to deeper acceptance and transformation.
