Description
About the course
Would you like to learn how to develop pure love and compassion and let go of ego – the root of all suffering?
Buddha taught scientific methods for developing our supreme good heart and let go of selfish intentions.
To practice these methods, we don’t need to abandon our wealth, possessions or family but we can transform our daily experiences and relationships into a path of transformation. Through doing this our outward appearance and activities may largely stay the same – but our intention for engaging in them will become increasingly altruistic.
As a result, our life will start to feel more simple, more meaningful and we will discover a true source of happiness within – our love for others. Our relationships will improve and we will naturally be able to help others more.
By putting these instructions into practice over time, we can transform our life into a path to peace.
We can gradually become someone who is a source of peace, goodness and wisdom in this world.
We can learn to develop a deep love and respect for everyone and become a friend of the world.
On this course, Gen Kelsang Leksang will explain powerful meditations for developing our pure love and compassion and letting go of the root of suffering.
The course will be based on the book ‘Modern Buddhism’ by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso . This book is available to purchase for those that wish to study further at home.
